These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Mega Rabbit ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the mobile game Mega Rabbit (the "Game") and the website mega-rabbit.com.

By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to play the Game. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may only use the Game with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your activity, including any purchases.

You must also be legally able to enter into a binding contract and not barred from using the Game under the laws of your country.

2. Licence to play

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, on any platform where we have made it available, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment.

This is a licence, not a sale. We retain all rights that are not expressly granted to you.

3. Your account

Some features require you to sign in with a platform account — Google Play Games on Android, Game Center on iOS, or Steam on PC. Those accounts belong to Google, Apple, and Valve respectively, and their own terms apply to them. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please tell us promptly at hello.mega.rabbit@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Progress, purchases, and items are tied to the platform where you obtained them. Unless we state otherwise for a specific title, they do not transfer between platforms — buying an item on Steam does not grant it on Android.

You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share your account, and you may not use another player's account.

You can delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete account, or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

4. Virtual items and in-app purchases

The Game may offer virtual currency, items, upgrades, and other digital content ("Virtual Items") for purchase.

• All purchases are processed by the store you bought from — Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Steam — and are also subject to that store's own terms.
• Virtual Items are licensed to you for use inside the Game. You do not own them.
• Virtual Items have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for real money or goods, and cannot be transferred outside the Game.
• Virtual Items may expire, change in price, be modified, or be discontinued at our discretion. Where a change materially disadvantages you, we will give reasonable notice.
• Your licence to Virtual Items ends when your account is closed or when the Game is discontinued.

5. Refunds and cancellation

Because payment is handled by the store, refund requests should first be made there. Each store sets its own window and rules:

5.1 Statutory withdrawal rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

• EU / UK: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By starting to download or use a Virtual Item immediately after purchase, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal once the content has been delivered.
• Republic of Korea: under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, you may generally cancel within 7 days of purchase. This right does not apply where the digital content has already been used or consumed, or where its value has been diminished by use. Unused and unconsumed Virtual Items remain refundable within that period.

We will not refund purchases where an account has been suspended for breaching these Terms.

6. Rules of conduct

When using the Game, you agree not to:

• Cheat, use bots, macros, automation, modified clients, emulator abuse, or any tool that gives an unfair advantage;
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or errors instead of reporting them to us;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code or assets of the Game, except where this is expressly permitted by applicable law;
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, systems, or other players' accounts;
• Buy, sell, or trade accounts, Virtual Items, or currency for real-world value;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with advertising, purchase, or security mechanisms in the Game;
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players or our staff, or post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content in any name, message, or other text you submit;
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law.

6.1 Content you submit

If the Game lets you submit content such as a nickname, avatar, or message, you keep ownership of it but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Game. You confirm that you have the right to submit it. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Game and everything in it — including code, artwork, characters, music, sound effects, text, and the "Mega Rabbit" name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from it except as these Terms allow.

You may create and share gameplay videos, screenshots, and streams for non-commercial or monetised content-creator purposes, provided you do not imply that we endorse or sponsor you, and you do not distribute the Game's assets separately from your own commentary or footage.

8. Advertising and third-party services

The Game uses third-party services including Google Firebase, and the sign-in and payment systems of Google Play, the Apple App Store, and Steam.

The mobile versions also display advertising through Google AdMob. The PC (Steam) version contains no advertising. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for the products and services they promote, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

9. Updates, changes, and availability

We may update, modify, add, or remove features, content, and Virtual Items to keep the Game working, balanced, and secure. We may also suspend the Game temporarily for maintenance.

We do not guarantee that the Game will always be available or free of interruption. If we decide to discontinue the Game permanently, we will give you at least 30 days' notice in the Game, on the relevant store page, or on mega-rabbit.com, stop selling Virtual Items, and give you a reasonable period to use any Virtual Items you have already bought. We may discontinue one platform's version while continuing others; if we do, this applies to the version being retired.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling it.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your conduct creates a risk of legal liability for us or harms other players. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and an opportunity to respond. For serious or repeated breaches — such as cheating or real-money trading — we may act immediately and without refund.

Sections 7, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost Virtual Items, arising out of or relating to your use of the Game.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Game will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Game in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights granted to you by the consumer law of your country.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the protection of mandatory local rules, this choice of law does not deprive you of that protection, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.

We would prefer to resolve any problem informally. Please contact us at hello.mega.rabbit@gmail.com first — most issues are settled quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be submitted to the courts of the Republic of Korea having jurisdiction, subject to the paragraph above.

Korean consumers may also seek mediation through the Korea Consumer Agency (kca.go.kr) or the Content Dispute Resolution Committee (kcdrc.kr).

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give notice in the Game or on our website at least 7 days before it takes effect (or 30 days where the change is unfavourable to you, as required under Korean law). Continuing to play after the change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, you may stop playing and delete your account.
